philosophy, thumbs up

Thank you for the music

There are obituaries and big-ups to Steve Jobs everywhere I know, but I am going to add to them.

What can I say? The guy was inspirational. And if you haven’t watched his 2005 Stanford address already, you need to so here it is. Its pretty awesome. Humans are so cool when they get as inspired and engaged as he was. How do we grow more Steve Jobs for the planet? It desperately needs some.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” Steve Jobs.

You were awesome Steve. Thank you for the music (and for all the other cool technology too, but there isn’t a snappy ABBA song title in that is there?)
