The Big Shwop, thumbs up, Wellington

People’s Coffee rock out support for The Big Shwop

More great news for shwoppers at next Saturday’s The Big Shwop – Wellington. They not only get flash new clothes, but also get to enjoy the ridiculously good coffee from the fantastic cats at Peoples Coffee.

Let me tell you who Peoples Coffee are so you know how very choice this is….

Peoples Coffee is a boutique coffee roastery located in Newtown, Wellington.  But not just any ol’ roastery, hell no.  They are not only Fair Trade certified but also completely Organic.  Hooray!!!

They say that, “Fairer trade is not a tack-on to our business, is is our Raison d’être  – our reason for being.”  I say that you can taste the earth’s happiness – seriously.

Like their name suggests, they want to make a difference to the people that grow their coffee. Their coffee is grown by people they know, in places they’ve visited, and that relationship forms a significant part of how they view sustainable trade.

It is awesome to have them on board for The Big Shwop.

Each shwopper  gets to take away a 200 gram bag of  either beans or plunger coffee. Matt has already said that will be freshly roasted for you so that it is even more magical at home.

Each shwopper also gets a totally free Peoples coffee at their funky Garrett Street Store.
