Hard to believe The Big Shwop-Auckland is all over. After months and months of planning the Shwop opened at 2pm last Saturday… and 1 hour 20 mins later 130 women left with gorgeous new clothes to freshen up their wardrobes! We were pretty stoked with how it all went, and super stoked to get on TV3 news!
A special thanks has to go out to the boys who helped us. Thanks flatmate Josh for lending us your muscles and your trailer. Thanks Marcus for giving up your home for Shwop meetings. Thanks Tama for your website expertise. Thanks Dave for the cool flyers and all your support. Thanks Richard for coming along and pitching in on the day. And thanks Rupert for driving the mission drive up to Auckland with all our racks and hangers! You guys rock.
Well no rest for the wicked, the next Big Shwop is scheduled for Sat 31 October, at the St James Theatre – and we will have a few new surprises up our sleeves!
