I found this gorgeous homemade orange dress while out op-shopping for an outfit to wear to a friends funk soul party. It was a full length number that went all the way to the floor.
But I wanted a short dress, so I decided to lop it off half way down.
And I just wanted to say to the girl in the queue at the op-shop – I kept my promise and made the rest of the material into a handbag. Actually 2 handbags. I didn’t quite make them myself though, that was my crafty friend Rebecca. Thank you! They are super duper orangalicious.
